The Pennine Brewing Company will be at the Red Shirt Night at Pontefract Racecourse on Friday 18th July 2014.

With a festival atmosphere and music from the Smoove Criminalz, the evening promises to be great fund and provide much needed funding for an injured jockeys’ rehabilitation centre in Malton.

Red Shirt Night

Red Shirt Night is a Charity Race Night in aid of Jack Berry’s Appeal for The House That Jack Built. This is the Injured Jockeys Fund rehabilitation centre, currently being built in Malton, for jockeys who have been hurt in racing.

The evening is called ‘Red Shirt Night’ as, when Jack Berry was training racehorses, he always used to wear a red shirt to the races as his lucky symbol!
