 A golden Amber session ale brewed with pale ale crystal and roasted barley.  Magnum and Sovereign hops are used to create a biscuit aroma, with a long malty finish.

Jacobs Ladder

About 200 years ago Jacob Marshall opened up his own path from Edale to the Swine’s Back ridge in The Peak District.  He was a travelling salesman who used this important trade route.  Over a period of time he gradually cut steps into the steep hillside to use as a short-cut.  Now hundreds of  walkers each year, climb up and down his steep track as part of The Pennine Way!

 A blonde ale using First Gold to give a light orange spicy flavour, which is enhanced by including a hint of passion fruit to produce this seasonal beer.

Ale Storm is a blonde 4.2% ABV beer.

Named after our resident Brewery Black Lab “Hail”. Hail is 3 years old and a real character; unique and individual like our craft ales! We wanted to name a seasonal ale after him as he is a big part of the team!

 A blonde beer using the highly robust Maris Otter Barley as a base. Hopped to produce a good earth platform which has a subtly sweeter honey taste than a bitter with a hint of pepper and spice. Coupled with a slight pine/floral aroma to create a perfect ‘Ale’ Storm

Kinder Scout

This is our Ale that has been named after Kinder Scout on The Pennine Way. Kinder Scout is a moorland plateau and National Nature Reserve in the Peak District at the Southern start of The Pennine Way. Part of the moor, is the highest point in the Peak District.

Tour de Ale

This is our golden beer that was originally brewed for The Grand Depart of the Tour de France that took place in Yorkshire 2014. The ale was so popular we have re-released it for the yearly cycle event “Tour de Yorkshire”.

Honouring The Pennine Way, this blonde is being brewed to celebrate The Pennine Way and the challenge it brings! The beer was named after the NAV4 mountain trail running adventure that takes place in July and uses The Pennine Way as its course. Including a traverse over High Cup Nick and down to Dufton before the classic ascent of Crossfell.

From our Heritage range, this IPA has been created to show off our head brewers talents!  It is aptly named after High Cup on The Pennine Way.  High Cup is a remarkable natural formation — a vast ‘hole’ in the moorside that looks like an elongated crater.

Black Fell

From our Heritage range, Black Fell is our individually crafted porter that has been specifically brewed to celebrate the amazing views from the top of Black Hill on The Pennine Way.  Black Hill is on the border between Derbyshire and Yorkshire.  The area surrounding the summit itself had virtually no vegetation and is very dark, giving the hill its appropriate name.
